Cancellation and Refund Policy

At JSNIRVANA TOURS, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds for all travel package bookings made through our services. This policy is designed to balance customer flexibility with business operational requirements while complying with applicable consumer protection laws

Cancellation Policy

Customer-Initiated Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our customer support team at [ support@jsnirvanatours.com]. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellation charges will be applied based on the timing of your cancellation request as follows:

Special Considerations

Flight Bookings: Domestic and international flight cancellations are subject to the respective airline’s cancellation policies and will be handled separately from our tour refund terms. Airlines typically allow free cancellation within 24 hours of booking if the ticket is purchased at least 7 days before departure.

Peak Season and Festival Periods: During peak seasons, long weekends, and festival periods, most hotels and service providers charge 100% cancellation fees. These periods may have stricter cancellation terms.

Group Bookings: For bookings involving 8 or more passengers, special cancellation terms may apply. Please contact our team for specific group booking policies.

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be processed according to the cancellation timeline above, minus applicable cancellation charges. The following conditions apply:

Refundable Components:

  • Hotel accommodations (subject to individual hotel policies)

  • Ground transportation

  • Sightseeing tours and activities

  • Guide services

Non-Refundable Components:

  • Airline tickets (subject to airline policies)

  • Visa processing fees

  • Travel insurance premiums

  • Administrative and processing fees

  • Special permits and entry fees for restricted areas

Refund Processing

Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 15-30 working days from the date of approved cancellation request. This timeline depends on receiving refunds from our service providers and banking processing times.

Method: Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment used during booking.For bank transfers, the amount will be credited to the same account. For credit/debit card payments, the refund will be reversed to the respective card account.

Processing Fees: A processing fee of ₹500-2000 may be deducted from the refund amount to cover administrative costs and transaction charges.

Company-Initiated Cancellations

If JSNIRVANA TOURS cancels a tour due to force majeure events, the following will apply:

Force Majeure Events Include:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones)

  • Military action, terrorism, or civil unrest

  • Government-imposed travel restrictions or border closures

  • Epidemic or pandemic situations

  • Strikes affecting essential services at the destination.

In Case of Force Majeure:

  • Full refund of amounts paid, excluding non-refundable third-party charges

  • Alternative date options at no additional cost

  • Travel vouchers valid for 24 months

Modification Policy

Changes to existing bookings are subject to availability and the following conditions:

Name Changes: Complete name changes (different person traveling) are not permitted. A new booking must be made at current rates, and the original booking will be cancelled as per the cancellation policy.

Special Policies
No-Show Policy

If you fail to join the tour at the designated starting point and time, or do not inform us of your inability to travel, it will be treated as a “no-show” and 100% cancellation charges will apply.

Partial Utilization

No refunds will be provided for unused services such as meals, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing tours, or entrance fees once the tour has commenced, regardless of the reason.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance can cover cancellation fees, medical emergencies, and other travel-related issues not covered by this policy.

Customer Grievances

If you are unsatisfied with our cancellation or refund decision:

Internal Resolution: Contact our customer service team within 7 days of the decision

Escalation: Raise the matter to our management team

Legal Recourse: As per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you may file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Commission.

Payment and Documentation

For all cancellation and refund requests, please provide:

Original booking confirmation

Payment receipts

Reason for cancellation (if applicable)

Copy of government-issued ID

Bank account details for refund processing

All communications regarding cancellations and refunds will be conducted via email. Please ensure your contact information is current and check your email regularly for updates.

JSNIRVANA TOURS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website and email notifications. The policy in effect at the time of booking will govern your reservation.
